Exercices de créativité Si j’étais un animal
Si vous pouviez avoir un corps d’animal, quelle créature seriez-vous ? Pourquoi ? Invitez les élèves à dessiner l’animal de leurs rêves, puis à raconter leurs aventures.
Directives
1) Organisez les élèves dans un endroit central de la classe, comme le tapis de lecture. Demandez-leur de discuter des animaux qui les fascinent. Les élèves choisissent ensuite un animal ! Quelle caractéristique animale aimeriez-vous découvrir ? Courriez-vous comme le vent sur quatre pattes ? Ou survoleriez-vous votre maison avec des ailes puissantes ? Ou nageriez-vous dans les profondeurs de l’océan en utilisant vos nageoires et votre queue ? Utilisez votre imagination pour imaginer une nouvelle façon de voir votre tête combinée à un corps d’animal, de poisson ou d’oiseau.
2) Invitez les élèves à utiliser des Crayola® Washable Markets pour remplir d’abord l’arrière-plan.
3) Les élèves utilisent des marqueurs pour créer des caractéristiques intéressantes et farfelues pour leurs créatures absurdes.
4) Les élèves composent une histoire imaginative. Avec des crayons de couleur effaçables Crayola, écrivez une histoire créative sur les aventures des créatures. Proposez une aide à l’écriture si nécessaire aux élèves plus jeunes. Ou bien, toute la classe peut se réunir et écrire une histoire originale avec plusieurs créatures comme personnages de leur histoire.
5) Partagez des histoires avec des pairs.

LA : Poser et répondre à des questions telles que qui, quoi, où, quand, pourquoi et comment pour démontrer la compréhension des détails clés d’un texte.
LA : Utiliser les informations obtenues à partir des illustrations et des mots d’un texte imprimé ou numérique pour démontrer la compréhension de ses personnages, de son décor ou de son intrigue.
LA : Connaître et appliquer les compétences de phonétique et d’analyse de mots du niveau scolaire pour décoder les mots.

Raconter une histoire ou raconter une expérience avec des faits appropriés et des détails pertinents et descriptifs, en parlant de manière audible dans des phrases cohérentes.
SCI : Utiliser des diagrammes et des modèles physiques pour étayer l’explication de la manière dont les parties externes des animaux et des plantes les aident à survivre, à grandir et à répondre à leurs besoins.
VA : Utiliser les structures visuelles de l’art pour communiquer des idées.
VA : Sélectionner et utiliser le sujet, les symboles et les idées pour communiquer le sens.
Adaptations
Travaillant en équipes de deux ou en petits groupes, les élèves discutent des principales parties des animaux et/ou des insectes qu’ils connaissent déjà. Les élèves collaborent pour créer un animal ou un insecte original qui peut effectuer une tâche spécifique comme porter des livres en classe, faire des tâches pour les enfants, etc. Les élèves écrivent ou enregistrent en audio les parties de leur animal original et leur fonctionnement. Les élèves créent également un croquis de leur nouvel animal ou insecte pour accompagner l’écriture ou l’enregistrement audio.
Les élèves travaillent en équipes de deux pour discuter de leurs connaissances de base sur les animaux ou les insectes. L’élève « A » décrit à l’élève « B » son animal préféré, sans le nommer. Les élèves incluent dans leurs descriptions les tâches que l’animal ou l’insecte peut accomplir. Le deuxième élève écoute attentivement les instructions et crée un croquis de ce qu’il interprète. Montrez le croquis à l’élève « A ». À quelle distance l’élève « B » s’est-il approché ? Quel est l’animal/insecte ? Inversez les rôles ; l’élève « B » décrit un animal ou un insecte à l’élève « A » et un deuxième croquis est créé.
